today emails and activities and activity
boards what we at omnitas have found is
that many people out there have a bit of
a problem with creating good and fully
automated activity boards i.e using
emails and activities and having those
activities being reported to a board
this is important because without it you
can't really do dashboarding and
dashboard data and emails and activities
are usually
used when doing crm within monday and
as many of you sales managers and other
things out there you know that yeah you
want to keep a track of how many
meetings did we have i mean how many
phone calls did we place and so on so
forth and then we don't need to go into
every single customer card basically to
look at that we want it in the dashboard
so the main thing here is
that we need to make an automation from
our emails and activities and that needs
to be done on the activity board
so normally the activity board that's
just a data dump so that's not a place
where we're operating anything
usually we're in our contacts or within
our leads or accounts or so on so forth
but for this to work properly you it
needs to be set up from that activity
board that you have created i have an
activity board here what i do is i go to
integrate
while it's on that one and we can
actually see this one is running but
let's add it again i add a new
integration
i scroll down and i found find emails
and activities
and on the bottom
when an activity is created in emails
and activities
create an item in this board and connect
the source item that's the one you want
to use and this needs to be set up
from the activity board so i go in and i
go this board and choose
my activity board
and
i choose my source item in this case
because i have one you will not have one
so you create a new one from within here
and that way it will work don't create
one on your own
and then try to link it create one from
within the automation and it will work
splendidly
then it's just a question of
mapping the information that you want
and you can just click the plus sign and
we can
add in whatever we want
that's it that will make it work
